Haute Couture : Christian Dior Fall 2010

Once again, John Galliano brought us to a beautiful garden where all his creations came to live. The collection consists of all bright vibrant colors . There were bunches of flowers, plastic-wrapped and raffia-tied. The skirt was shaped like a tulip. All the little details - the fronding, the feathering, the ruching, the ruffling -  makes the collection extraordinary. The hair was shaped like tulip wrapped inside the colorful plastic paper like a bouquet. The make-up really compliments the clothes. I'm always excited to see the makeup @ his show. Pat McGrath always surprised me with her amazing works. Shes on of the best in the industry I have to say. I love to eye makeup so much... It really stand out even when the lips are dark & intense as well. Not something you can wear on the street though

Those shoes are fabulous. I wish I could get a pair of those... Lovely !

Haute Couture : Valentino Fall 2010

I'm in love with this show which embraces femininity & a Lolita feel . All the girls are dolled up with all short skirt, dropped waist, baby doll, and kitten heels. Espeially, the little bow details becomes a big statement of the collection. The collection is called The Dark Side of First Love . They really showcase the “darkness” as haute couture for the Twilight generation. The collection is full of cool colors palette of black, cream & a hint of the signature Valentino red. There are full of beautiful clothes that I can imagine wearing them again and again....Beside, the Make-up is kept minimum , just a flawless face with sparkle eyes & nude lips, no blush or bronzer. Hair is half messy , half done up . Very fresh & very pretty. 

“Modern Cinderella!” Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccoli both said, because clearly, even Cinders needs to get dressed for a life that is about more than assignations with Prince Charming - Vogue 2010

Haute Couture : Valentino Spring 2010

This collection is really influenced by Avatar - the blue spray shoulder - leads us to a garden in the fantasy world. The designers really try to attract more younger clients through this collection full of softness & modern twist like short colorful dresses, sparkly leggings, but also continue the traditional style like ruffles & layers. The makeup is fantastic with colorful eyes with a pale face & nude lips. Hair was kept simple to let the makeup stand out more

When it comes to John Galliano, all we have to say is : GENIUS. He knows how to make couture clothes like no others. His show always surprises everyone. This season, John Galliano pushed a Dior couture show into the realms of sensory overload. Loads of hats, veils, impeccable riding habits & satin ballgown. Path Mcgrath's makeup is always perfect with a matte red / nude lips. The show was made "for an unforgettable coming together of live atmosphere, detail, and voluptuous visual pleasure" (style.com)

Haute Couture : Elie Saab Spring 2010

Elie Saab doesn't disappoint anyone by continuing what he does best, making incredible evening wear for women. This year, his collection is full of pale, mauve, beige, washed-out color with a romantic touch like petal-embroidered over-piece or flora-appliqued dresses . Hair was braided in the front which was put in half updos goes extremely well with the natural makeup. The show looks like a fairy tale

Haute Couture : Chanel Spring 2010

For the first time, we dont see the usual BLACK OR NAVY color at Chanel haute couture show. The whole collection is full of silver and pastel suits and dresses. The hairstyle is very cartoonish which was crafted in a heart shape beautifully. Karl was so smart to even put silver streak into model's hair to coordinate with their outfits. Light silver eye makeup & bright coral lips compliment the whole look. Just one word to describe the show: GORGEOUS !
